  • Intro To Photography

    This intro-level workshop is for individuals who have a passion for photography and are ready to start developing their technical skills.

    Camera Operations: Provides an overview of how cameras function, whether participants use phones or a more advanced camera. This includes the basics of photography—starting with light, which is the essence of capturing images. What is the exposure trinity? ISO, Aperture, and Shutter Speed. Master these tools to get the most out of your camera. 

    Composition and Action: Learn the basics of framing, composition, and capturing dynamic shots. This will help a photographer craft memorable stories in their own voice and express their unique creativity. 

    Practical Challenges: Offers practical exercises or challenges that participants can work on, in their own time.

  • Intermediate Courses

    These workshops are for participants that took Photography 101 with Ubuntu or photographers that have experience working in the field, i.e. live event, portrait, products, etc. 

    Intermediate Techniques: Dive deeper into lighting, portrait photography, live event photography and more advanced composition techniques, i.e. the difference between a portrait and a headshot. Learn the nuances of capturing weddings, concerts, and other events.

    Price: $249 per person

    Fine Art Printing: Focus on the art of printing photos, understanding different mediums, and how to achieve the best results. Develop a print workflow using Lightroom and Photoshop to ensure your print is an accurate representation of what you see on your screen.

    Developing Your Voice: An intro-level workshop focused on helping photographers discover and refine their unique artistic voice.
